Founded in 1743 by German and Swiss immigrants near Perkasie, PA, Saint Peter's Tohickon UCC is a historic congregation near Lake Nockamixon. Originally a Reformed and Lutheran union church ("Friedens Kirche"), it became a United Church of Christ (UCC) congregation in 1957. The current stone building dates to 1853, following earlier log structures.
Key Historical Aspects:
The church is known for its extensive cemetery containing burials from before the Revolutionary War.

We believe that we are called to prepare the way for God’s reign of gracious love, justice, reconciliation and peace.
As a part of the Church, the body of Christ, our mission is to respond to God’s love through Christ by caring for one another, serving our wider community and God’s people
throughout the world.
